This was a great spot! I got a #2 which has cheese, sour cream, chives and bacon and it was delicious!! Would definitely recommend trying it out! They have little areas outside to sit at and its mostly got traffic going through their drive thru

I probably eat from The Spud Too more than I should, but if I want a good potato or a really yummy cobb salad or a taco salad that makes me want to take a nap after eating it, they bring it! Prices went up a little bit but you pay just as much or more at several national food chains and the food isn’t as good.

This is such an underrated spot in Lufkin. They don't sell just baked potatoes, but they are definitely the star of the show. You can either get a giant, which is 4 potatoes I believe, or a mini, which is 2 potatoes. So yes, be prepared for big portions. There's also lots of combos and TONS of toppings for the potatoes. I got the giant #2 (cheese, sour cream, chives and bacon bits), and the mini #24 (cheese, buffalo chicken and a side of ranch). All potatoes come with butter and everything tasted so good and fresh too. It all filled me up great. Prices are reasonable, and the combination possibilities for the potatoes are endless. Definitely worth the money, would 100% come again!

The BBQ Spud is to die for! Reason ably priced, quick and very different from normal "fast food" eateries! Staff was friendly enough, but food more than made up for any areas in which they lacked!! Happy bellyhappy customer!

Seriously if you haven't tried this place you are missing out! Me and my husband try to order from them at least once a week for lunch! We have recently gotten a few coworkers to try it too! Corn in a cup is my favorite! My husband loves the spud with olives on it and the pull pork sandwich.
